In a recent interview with J. K. Rowling she admits that Harry and Hermione "could have gone that way" because Hermione "shared something very instense with Harry," but that ultimately, they are not for each other. Rowling maintains that Harry's true soulmate is Ginny, and that even though Hermione and Ron have shared moments, they are ultimately destined for a close friendship. :]

Harry and Hermione?
In a recent interview with J. K.
