Her mom remarried a man named Anthony who has three boys who she likes to call Sleepy, Dopey, and Doc. This means she had to move all the way from New York to California and leave her best friend Gina Suze plans to start fresh, with trips to the mall and beach, but the very first day at her new school, Suze realizes it's not that easy. There's an angry ghost named Heather, a girl who committed suicide over Christmas break who wants to go back to her normal life and she seems to think Suze is in the way.

This book starts off a great series by Meg Cabot and it really is interesting. The next five books are just as good. This series combines mystery, suspense, humor, and romance, and so will appeal to teens with different tastes in reading. I also recommend that all of Meg Cabot's fans give it a try, even though this series is very different than her other books, in my opinion, it's one of her best!

I would rate this book a 4 out of 5 glasses

Bras and Broomsticks

This is the story of Rachel Weinstein a 14 year old girl with the problems of most teenage girls. She’s got a major crush on the two most popular in school, Raf and Mick. She’s been dumped by he best friends since preschool, Jewel, and instead has made friends with not so popular Tammy. She’s got no rhythm what’s so ever and she’s a B-lister (B+ on a good hair day). Her dad is getting ready to marry the most annoying soon-to-be-stepmother in the world. Things couldn’t get any worse until…

She just found out that her sister Miri is a witch; Seem mom is a witch, too. Mom decided to live life as a non practicing witch, and Miri’s inherited her mom’s special gift. Now with the help of her sister she an make all her problems go away. The spells don’t work out exactly as planned, though, the way things tend to do when you mess with the way things are. Just when Rachel thinks she’s finally got it everything comes crashing down.

Maybe they should have listened to their mom after all!

I absolutely loved this book. The book is filled with humor and laugh out loud moments that keep you entertained. Rachel is your typical 14 year old besides the Magical aspect. Rachel and Miri are a great pair, the situations Rachel gets herself into are hilarious, and the overall feeling is that life is hard, but sometimes you just have to deal with it.

This Definitely receives a 5 out 5 glasses :]
