The series, set to premiere on Disney Channel in 2009, follows Sonny Munroe (Lovato) as she gets every girl’s dream come true by getting a starring role on a comedy sketch show, So Random!. Does anyone else find it wierd that for the poster for the show they use a picture of Demi from Camp Rock? :]

The 16-year-old Disney starlet got an early Christmas present from mom Tish. Sources tell People that, “Tish got a new car recently, so she’s giving Miley her old car. She’s so excited. Her mom lets her drive to work when she’s with her.” So what type of car is it? A Porsche Cayenne, just like the one Hayden Panettiere has. Miley spilled to Jay Leno recently that she was actually scared of her driving teacher. She shared, “My test person scares me. He says, ‘All right Miley, if you make a left turn, what’s going to happen?’ And I am like, ‘I don’t really know.’ And he goes, ‘THUMP. That’s what going to happen to your brand-new car.’ He just starts hitting things, and it really scared me.” Not a Mercedes with pink interior but not bad at all Miles!

Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana rocks out on stage in a parade of color and jumpy dance moves to her new song, “Let’s Do This,” which premiered last night on Disney Channel. The 16-year-old Hannah Montana actress croons the lyrics, “I’ll turn it on, I’ll turn it up, I’ll show you all what I’m made of.” The new song will be a part of The Hannah Montana Movie that will premiere in April 2009. The song is totally catchy and good but not as good as Its All Right Here. The new album is sure to be a smash hit.

There have been rumors going around about Demi Lovato and Alex Deleon from the Cab dating just based on this picture alone. Well it’s confirmed, they are an item. I guess they’ll be spending the holidays together then? What do you guys think of this couple? Surprise surprise he was born in 1989 so he is 19, but will Demi get yelled at nope. Only Miley will get all the fire for dating a boy only a year older than Demi's boyfriend and now its fine to date an older boy. :/ Well the best to the both of them. :]

Reality Index Gossip Girl Funeral Style

Every Tuesday, the most recent episode of Gossip Girl is examined by New York Magazine and assigned scores according to its "reality index." Below are some of the highlights (lowlights?) from the magazine's analysis of "O Brother, Where Bart Thou?"

Everybody knows Chuck sleeps with the room service twins at the Palace. Plus 1 because when people say it, it's kind of admiringly.

What cheesy, Hypnotiq-grade club liquor did Chuck steal from the bar? Surely he would have gone for a nice aged scotch. Minus 2.

Dan announces to Jenny that Serena is "going to Buenos Aires, with Aaron" in what tries to maybe be an Argentinean accent, but it comes out kind of Irish instead. Plus 1, because he would only know how to do one accent.

Rufus is sitting quietly in the dark. Minus 1, nobody does that in real life.

Aaron's invitation to Serenais effective immediately? That was convenient of Bart, to die over Christmas vacation like that. Minus 3.

HOLY EFFING SH!T DOROTA IS A BRIDESMAID! Plus 30.

While trying to sober Chuck up, Blair inadvertently reveals how good she is at the art of purging. Even Nate notices. Plus 2.

Here are a couple of Gossip Girl spoiler / news items from Entertainment Weekly and TV Guide today.

Q: Are Gossip Girl's Dan and Serena going to get back together? Also, Chuck and Blair are obviously perfect for each other; how long are they going to lead us on?

A: While this week's episode may have led you to believe that Serena has chosen Aaron, don't count on that choice being permanent. Lonely Boy will be much less so after the holiday. Blair and Chuck, on the other hand, definitely will not be kissing each other when the ball drops on New Year's Eve.

Pluto and Cook

David Cook gets into the holiday spirit with a reindeer-inspired Pluto on Friday in the Magic Kingdom in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The 25-year-old American Idol champ recorded a segment for the “Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade”, putting his rocker spin on a holiday classic, “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”. After he was done, he took questions from the audience, and played peek-a-boo with some kids who were in the first row (those are the pics with him holding up the guitar). The Disney Christmas Day Parade will air nationwide @ 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. ET on Christmas Day, Decemeber 25 on ABC.

Blake Lively (in Helmut Lang’s “Moto” leather jacket) and Penn Badgley cozy up together at Ray-Ban’s celebration of the re-launch of Clubmaster Sunglasses at the Bowery Ballroom in the Lower East Side of Manhattan on Tuesday.

E! Online’s report about Blake hooking up with a “random blond” at NYC nightclub Southside on Friday night is categorically untrue. Blake was never at Southside. The couple was working late on the GG set that night, and headed to Cafeteria in Chelsea together for a late-night snack. Besides, Blake has stated in countless interviews that she doesn’t even go to nightclubs. DUH!

Chris Brown sports a milk mustache in his latest print ad for Got Milk?.
The ad copy reads, “Chris Brown feat. Milk. Another great collaboration? Milk. Some studies suggest that teens who drink milk tend to be leaner and the protein helps build muscle. So eat right, exercise and drink lowfat or fat free milk. Talk about a smooth move.” The ad debuts in Rolling Stone on December 12, 2008.

Sneak A Bite

Gossip Girl Leighton Meester takes a quick bite of a hamburger on the set of her hit CW show while filming at the Museum of the City of New York on Tuesday afternoon. The 22-year-old actress joined co-stars Blake Lively and Penn Badgley to film scenes for an upcoming episode (also pictured below). An insider on the series hints to E Online that we’ve only just seen the beginning of Blair (Meester) and Chuck’s (Ed Westwick) relationship. They shared, “Chuck and Blair aren’t just the Gossip Girl couple of the moment. They are the core Gossip Girl couple of the series. So you definitely will see much, much more of them in the days to come. The dance has just begun.”

Penn Badgley shared a cozy brunch with off-screen (and hopefully future, in the opinion of many fans, on-screen) girlfriend Blake Lively at Norma's inside New York's Le Parker Meridien hotel. "He had the eggs benedict and she had the berry waffle," says an onlooker. "They sat side by side, giggled, played on their phone and ate. They were very sweet together."

Jessica Szohr steps out to the Gossip Girl holiday party on Sunday at NYC nightclub Haven with rumored boyfriend (and costar) Ed Westwick by her side. The night before, Ed, 21, and Jessica, 23, were spotted at the cabaret The Box with a few other friends. “Ed and Jessica were definitely holding hands,” a W spy spills. They apparently didn’t leave the club until 4:30 am! :]

Britney Spears’s “Circus” music video has officially been released!
The video (directed by Francis Lawrence, who also directed “I’m A Slave 4 U” and I Am Legend) for the title track from her new album, “Circus,” was supposed to have premiered on Friday. However, due to overwhelming fan demand–and possibly an unexpected YouTube leak on Wednesday night–the pop princess decided to release it on ET Thursday night.

•Lexi's Brooklyn walking outfit consists of a hooker cheetah jacket, purple tights, a short pleated skirt, and black booties. Plus 3. We hate her so hard.
•Jenny and Nate's excuses not to date one another are always that the other one isn't into it. That's not a reason. Vanessa would see this and go bonkers. Minus 2.
• Blair: "I have depths that [Chuck] will never plumb." Not true, but great, gross imagery. Plus 2.
•Serena van der Woodsen is holding out on sex? Minus 2. That would have been the first weapon deployed in the Getting Aaron Rose to Commit Arsenal.

•Dan Humphrey wouldn't want the four of them to go to the dance together. He's too awkward. That kind of setup would make his brow knit together so far his eyeballs would have to burrow into his brain. Minus 2.

Gossip Girl stars Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr have taken their on-screen romance off-screen!
According to W, the pair and Chace Crawford were stuck in the Dallas airport yesterday (pictured here). According to a spywitness, Jessica, 23, and Ed, 21, were spotted flirting AND kissing. “Definitely on the lips,” the snitch reveals. “Not a French kiss, but a smooch definitely. They were being very flirty when people were not paying attention… Ed was carrying a big Brooks Brothers bag, so I think he had probably spent his delay-time in the airport shopping at the Brooks Brothers. Jessica and Ed waited until the very end to board their flight. And then Jessica tried to go get a pizza to take on the plane but they decided they didn’t have time.”
